Last Friday 26 April, the Year 5 and Year 6 students took to the MFH stage to present their ‘Music Through Time’ production.
The theme of the production, featuring music by Taylor Swift and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, surprised and delighted the audience. Each class selected a favorite Taylor Swift song and explored connections with Mozart, which were beautifully presented on the ‘UISG TV Channel’ by the MC and special guests.
Students displayed their efforts in writing scripts, learning songs, and planning actions to accompany the music. Highlights included Y5R class’s performance of Mozart’s Türkish March, featuring Penny on the piano with her classmates on various instruments, like boomwhackers, triangles, drums, and bamboo sticks.Special recognition goes to Shawn and Priscilla for their piano performances, as well as Bella for her flute solo. It was heartwarming to witness the talent and dedication of our students.As we look forward to the next school year, and that both these year levels will be moving on to Secondary school, I want to thank each student for their hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment, and I wish them all the best in their future endeavors.I would also like to express my gratitude for the support and attendance of the parents at the‘Music Through Time’ production. It was a joy to see you witness the students showcasing their musical and theatrical talents on the MFH stage.
