In their latest unit of inquiry, the year 2 students are expanding their knowledge through inquiry and exploration. One way to do this is by looking at evidence from the past. What better way than to go to a museum. Year 2 students, teachers and parent volunteers took a trip to the Guangdong Museum. With a scavenger hunt in hand, they learned about fossils, dinosaurs, Guangdong history, and more!
Following the museum visit, students looked at evidence from the past at home and created their very own museum. Their museum was a bit smaller, but much more interactive. Parents were invited together with the other PYP students. By scanning QR-codes, visitors were able to watch a Canva presentation with more information about their artifact.
Below are some photographs from the GD museum visit and a video from our very own museum.
