The UISG MUN students participated in the RAMSMUN conference 2023 from 17th to 19th March 2023. This year the theme was ‘Pioneering New Beginnings’. Our year 10 students, ChaeWon, Jugyeong, JaeYong, DaeHyun, Yu King, Rui Hai, GyungHyun, BoMi and Anna, participated as delegates representing different countries. Our year 10 student, YoonSoo, was appointed the Chair of the conference.
The UISG MUN team was led by our MUN director Mr Brandon Bewza. Over the three days, students debated important global issues, negotiated to find solutions, and researched global policies, and laws to develop a succinct speech and pass the resolution. UISG students did us proud by winning many debates, challenging themselves, and engaging with global issues. Our student, Anna, also bagged the best delegate award. Overall, it was a very successful event that helped our students to exercise their leadership skills, gain confidence and learn more about global events and affairs.
