Our K1 children were very excited to share what we have learned during our Unit of Inquiry: How We Express Ourselves. The central Idea was: People learn and express themselves through play. Throughout this unit we inquired into various forms of play. We participated in games that requires them to negotiate, take turns, follow rules, to be kind and gentle and most importantly communicate. 

We were delighted to have our parents join us for the morning where we could share and have them join in with our play, rhymes and songs.  We also enjoyed a picnic together where we were able to connect within our own little community of parents, teachers and children.
