Observation in the Montessori Classroom: How to Read and Understand Children’s Behavior and Truly Support the Children.

Learn how to observe with purpose, interpret behavior through a developmental lens, and respond in ways that genuinely support each child’s growth.

B. 1:30 – 3:30 PM

How to Support Families with Hidden Parental Anxiety but Family Conditions Cannot Be Changed from a Montessori Perspective.

Explore compassionate, practical strategies to support families facing unchangeable circumstances—without trying to fix what cannot be fixed. This session is especially relevant for educators working with vulnerable families.

03. About Dr. Paul Epstein

PROFILE : Dr. Paul Epstein

Dr. Epstein brings five decades of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy, child development, and school leadership. A direct student of Nancy McCormick Rambusch, founder of the American Montessori Society (AMS), he serves as a Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Education, University of Sarasota, USA, and is the Founder of DLL Lifelong Learning. His extensive leadership includes consulting for Hong Kong’s first Montessori Junior High School, directing the Norwegian Montessori MACTE Certification Program for ages 12–18, and serving as Principal of a Montessori school for ages 0–18. A Certified Instructor at the AMS Trainers Academy, Dr. Epstein is also a respected school administrator, teacher, researcher, and writer, bringing unparalleled depth and insight to every training he leads.
