On Wednesday, Year 6 went on a field trip on the year to the Guangzhou Science Museum. The focus of the trip was the culmination of our latest Unit of Inquiry. Students were split into groups and given assignments to complete as they explored the range of attractions at the museum.

The highlights were the virtual driving experience which provided some interesting on-the-road skills as well as students being turned upside down in a car to simulate a car crash and the development of car safety.

There were some great opportunities for the students to also look ahead toward their upcoming PYPx as many areas focused on local and global issues that require action. It also allowed our students to look at how different exhibitions were displayed and how we could use those ideas for our own.
