Results have been released!
Of the 27 competitors from six schools who entered the ISMAG Piano Competition 2022, hosted by UISG in a ‘virtual asynchronous’ online environment, we were very proud to have been represented by five talented UISG students.

Although UISG did not win awards this year, the adjudicator Mr Justin Bird provided positive comments for our representatives and tips for success in the future.
ISMAG Piano Competition 2022 results
UISG would like to extend our congratulations to all the young pianists who represented their schools. The International Schools Music Association Guangzhou (ISMAG) is a group of international schools who collaborate to create inter-school music activities and events. It is hoped in the new year that it will be possible to hold the ‘Battle of the Bands’ rock band festival and the ‘Sing Up’ spring choirs concert live as planned.
The UISG ISMAG representatives, Ms Jessie Chen (Primary) and Mr Malcolm Mawhinney (Secondary), look forward to supporting all our young musicians who are dedicated enough to represent UISG at future ISMAG events, including an on campus ISMAG Piano Competition in November 2023 !
