The introduction of the workshop:
The teenage years are a time for exploration and self-discovery. Although it is different for every individual, there are some things that common to all teens, such as the physical, mental, social and emotional changes that occur during adolescence. While many teenagers navigate this period without significant difficulties, some may experience mental health issues that can impact their daily living and future prospects.
In this workshop, we will explore some of the most common mental health issues affecting teenagers today, including anxiety, depression, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and, share strategies to help support teens through this transition from childhood to adulthood.
