This week the Year 9 physical education classes planned and ran a Sports Day for our Early Years Wolf Cubs. The key idea of their current unit is how sport can develop relationships in a school community. With Parents, Teachers, Early years, and Secondary all together for a morning of fun sporting games, it was evident that their key idea was achieved.Our Wolf Cubs used all the skills they have developed this year in their own physical education classes to play the games and activities created by the “big kid” Wolves. The high-fives, cheering, and support from the older students to the younger ones was heartfelt and boosted the Wolf Cubs’ confidence in each activity. A sincere and sporty thank you to the teachers, parents, and of course students for a wonderful Sports Day!
