At UISG we believe that early childhood development is the foundation of all learning. We embrace inquiry through play as the child’s primary expression of their social-emotional, linguistic, cognitive, and physical development.
The Year 1 field trip to the Guangzhou Zoo was a great success! Aligned with our current UOI, ‘Sharing the Planet’, the students explored the central idea that human activity influences the environment and all living things.
The latest updates for the Spelling Bee of China are emerging! UISG students who signed up to particpate in the Spelling Bee of China competition have completed a preliminary round of spelling activities, and the second round of activities are being organized for April.

For module 7 of Read Write Inc, our class had the opportunity to write a letter about our school. This letter is meant to be read by Rose, a girl that went to school in Victorian times. But we thought it would be nice for all to read.
Wednesday was a concert day for UISG DP Music students, who presented their second recital for the academic year in the UISG Admin Hall.
With UISG students back on campus and parents’ lives returning to a “normal” routine, we are excited to finally host our first UPTA Cultural Exchange Workshop this year.
Staff and special guests, including UISG’s founder, Ms Dorothy Wong, were invited to celebrate the start of The Year of the Rabbit last weekend. Everyone enjoyed a buffet, live entertainment on stage, and an abundance of raffle prizes!
The After School Activities (ASAs) Fair took place on Thursday, 9th February. The secondary students demonstrated agency and took initiative to offer innovative and interesting after-school activities. Some of the clubs being offered are TSF-UISG BioChemistry club, chess club, digital architecture club, science experiments club, feminism club, dodgeball / football / basketball / volleyball club, live band club, eco-green club, philosophy club, cooking experiments club, physics club, water colour club, MUN club and so much more.
On Wednesday 8th February, UISG was joined by our founder, Mrs Dorothy Cheung, to celebrate members of staff who have served UISG for 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years!
