As we reflect on our exceptional PYP exhibition at our esteemed school UISG, we are filled with immense pride at the extraordinary achievements of our dedicated Year 6 students. Their unwavering commitment and tireless efforts throughout this transformative journey exemplify the very essence of our school community’s values.
Y5 were proud to share their hard work during their PYPx. This exhibition was the capstone project of their primary school career and involved them putting all the elements of the PYP together.

UISG K2 students have been eagerly learning about the five senses and their role in understanding the world around us. They choose one sense to present to their Early Years (EY) friends to celebrate their newfound knowledge.
In year 2 we learned about the journey of food in UOI. We took a field trip to Huiling farm and to the Kewpie factory. In the end, students shared some of their learning. Below are two videos, a story written by a student and pictures of the factory visit.
Y5 recently went on a trip to the South China Botanic Gardens In Guangzhou in connection with their Sharing the planet unit “ biodiversity relies on maintaining the interdependent balance of organisms within systems”.
Our K2 children went on a sensory adventure at Pizza Marzano, where they were surrounded by different tastes, smells, sounds, and textures. The students’ use of all five senses brought to life the main idea that experiencing different things can help you understand yourself and others better.
