The Grade 7 Theatre trimester one students performed their Reader’s Theatre adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caeser.” The Grade 7 students having explored the different ways to improve their creative processes through improvisation and mime (body awareness) now learn the structures and practices to help them perform comedic roles in a scripted Drama play.
At the end of November, under the warm winter sun and with the kapok blossoms adorning the branches, a dialogue concerning cultural heritage and educational collaboration took place in the conference hall of Sun Yat-sen University’s Department of Chinese Language and Literature. Amid the quiet winter atmosphere, the gathering resonated with profound significance.

On Thursday afternoon of 20 November, secondary students from Utahloy International School of Guangzhou gathered in the Multi-Function Hall for this year’s 2025 Secondary Talent Show! Students from across grades 6 through 12 auditioned, practiced, rehearsed, and prepared to present their best skills, talents, and unique abilities in front of fellow students, teachers, parents, and principals. Viewers entered the MFH with the stage set and music playing to an atmosphere of excitement to see what students would bring to this year’s talent exhibition. Some students arrived prepared with posters and signs cheering on their favorite friends.
