A Y12 DP Visual Art Exhibition called ‘4am Nirvana’ will be organized at AIO. The exhibition will run from 30 March to 7 April and will feature six young artists showing us their thoughts and feelings through their visual artworks.
It was a busy week for the Secondary Performing Arts, with Year 11 Theatre and Year 9 Theatre collaborative performances, and Year 9 Music solo performances.
The 2024 Y12 DP Visual Exhibition was opened successfully on Wednesday afternoon, March 6, 2024, at the former ULC building.

We are excited to announce the UISG Community Art Exhibition is now open for submissions. This is your chance to showcase your artistic expression and exhibit them in the beautiful Art Institute of the Orient, Shamian Island, Guangzhou.
The Mural Service Project is a UISG voluntary activity outside of the classroom that provides an opportunity for students and staff to collaborate and serve the school community through the art of painting on a wall.
In October 2023, UISG community participated in Inktober, a global artistic movement in which students and staff created drawings based on the daily given prompts.
Every year the Primary Art Department like to challenge students to consider the marks they can make in different ways for Dot Day, and this year we took on a new challenge, a Dot Day Sculpture! International Dot Day, is a global celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration, which began when teacher Terry Shay introduced his classroom to Peter H. Reynolds’ book The Dot on September 15, 2009.

At last, UISG End of Year Arts & Design Exhibition (MYP-DP) has reached its finale of showcase (Jun 6–14, 2023). Since last week, the secondary atrium has been filled with the artworks, design works, and performances from MYP Year 7,8,9, and 10 students.
