Secondary MYP Music Recital Series (Dec 2023)
The Secondary Music Recital Series for the Year 10 Music class ended this past week, with the third group of performers presenting their classroom concert. As part of their Concert Time (solo performance) unit, the eleven Year 10 musicians performed across three concerts to an audience made up of their Visual Arts peers and teachers.

ADE Conference (Dec 2023)
At UISG, we encourage our staff members to engage in learning new technologies. Fifteen staff members attended the ADE (Apple Distinguished Educators) conference in Hong Kong on November 11th, focusing on “The Power of Play.”

A group of Year 3 students have come together to raise awareness and bring support to the stray cats in our school community. With the help of a few adults at school they have started a Trap Neuter and Return program (TNR) here at UISG.
UISG Cross Country Team Been Crowned ACAMIS Champions (Nov 2023)
The UISG Cross Country Team has been crowned ACAMIS Champions for the 2023-2024 season, earning a total of 6 medals: 3 gold (HS boys, HS girls, and MS boys), 1 silver (MS girls), and 2 bronze (HS girls and MS boys).
UISG represented as Tree Lighting Ceremonies Return ! (Nov 2023)
Many international hotels around world recognize and celebrate the tradition of Christmas with a ‘Tree Lighting Ceremony’. A large Christmas Tree is erected in the hotel and a celebration occurs to ‘light’ the tree.
