University representatives are invited to give our students an overview of higher education opportunities around the world. A representative and a UISG alumni from HKUST visited us on Nov 9 to give our year 11 and 12 students a special look into the study options and experience in HKUST.
In PYP we value student-initiated action. After our sleepover, one of the year 2 students wrote this wonderful recount at home and brought it to school. Here is a slightly edited version.
Camping at Pak Lap with Year 6 UISGZ students was truly an unforgettable experience. The natural beauty of the location, the sense of adventure, and the opportunity to bond with our students made it a meaningful and enriching journey.
The Y5 students had a wonderful time on their camping excursion to Pak Lap in Hong Kong. Day 1 the adventure began with the trip to Pak Lap followed by some educational opportunities.
The end of Autumn brings us towards many different holidays, celebrations, the hope for cooler weather, and another week’s worth of events in the ever-busy Atrium.
Y4 Camp took place from 1st November to 3rd November in Qingyuan. Our students had an amazing time participating in various fun and team building activities.
Our camp was titled ‘Treasure hunter’ by our organizers and rightly so. Wow! Did we ever discover treasure? The most amazing thing is that the treasure was inside each and every student!
We started off by arriving at school in the morning then got ready to go to the bus. The bus ride was about six hours long. I thought I would get bored, but I got to meet and talk to new people on the bus. We arrived at our hotel at 3 PM and headed to me and my roommate’s room.
Autumn is a colourful season and UISG decided to celebrate this change in season by organising a diverse range of activities over four days in October. It was a good opportunity for students to develop their rich imagination, as shown in the DIY food and hands-on experiences offered by Ms Eva and the canteen staff.
