The Extra-curricular Activities (ECA) Programme at UISG is designed to allow students to pursue their interests, fostering independence and creativity. With over 160 activities available throughout the year, students from Years 1 to 12 can choose from various options, including sports, performing arts, virtual design, STEAM, academics, and community engagements/initiatives. The Activities program allows students to explore their interests and engage in exciting activities that contribute to their well-rounded education at UISG.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
- All courses require a minimum number of attendees to run.
If an activity is cancelled due to instructor or teacher illness, parents will be notified and a refund or make up session will be issued. - No make-up lessons, credits or refunds will be issued if a student is absent from an ECA.
- Cancellations: Each term has a 1-week grace period in which students may attend and cancel their registration. After the 1-week grace period each family will be billed for the entire session and no refunds will be permitted (exceptions to this include injury or other medical conditions that do not permit the student from attending).
- In the event of school cancellation due to an unplanned or unexpected event all after school activities will also be cancelled. The ECA instructors will offer make up sessions upon availability.
- If School is suspended for less than 1 week each ECA provider will have the option to offer ECA’s virtually, or schedule a make-up. For unplanned school closures under 1 week no refunds will be granted.
- For any prolonged school closure, longer than 1 week, families will be refunded the balance of the missed lessons.
- Students are subject to disciplinary action from UISG for behavior or conduct issues which can include suspension or removal from the ECA. Students who are removed from an ASA due to behavior or conduct issues are not subject to a refund.
Secondary School Activities
Year 6-12
Secondary students are offered a wide range of activities catering to diverse interests. These activities include service opportunities to empower students to impact broader communities positively. Secondary students can select from staff-led, external providers, or student-led activities.

REGISTRATION
UISG uses Schools Buddy to register students for any ECAs. Information on sign-up dates will always be published on the website and emails to be sent to UISG community through School Buddy New families will receive an activation email in August preceding the start of the school year.

TRANSPORTATION
– A Primary late bus will be provided for any Year. 3-5 normal bus riders leaving campus at 5:15pm on ECA days Tuesday and Thursday and all Athletics days.
– These ECA late bus routes are exclusively available on those specific days.
– ECA transportation services on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on the availability of the late bus routes.
ECA FEES
ECAs run by UISG teachers and students typically do not have a fee. However, activities offered by external providers do incur a fee. Please refer to the activity schedule on School Buddy for more details.
Students (Y2-12) and Parents can register their children in a variety of Athletics through the SchoolsBuddy app.
