PYP ART EXHIBITION 2025

This year’s Primary Year Art Exhibition at UISG is a vibrant celebration of creativity and artistic exploration, featuring stunning works from students across the entire spectrum—from UNC and Early Years (EY) through to Year 5.

Our young artists have been busy crafting pieces in a variety of media and genres, showcasing their growing skills and unique perspectives.

Students took on exciting challenges creating art in a variety of genres including sculpting with materials such as cardboard, foam board, and clay.

These tactile projects not only allowed them to develop fine motor skills but also deepened their understanding of three-dimensional art forms. Many of these artworks were thoughtfully linked to their class units of inquiry, integrating learning and creativity in a meaningful way.

Visitors to the exhibition discovered a rich diversity of art, including abstract paintings that explore color and form, textile works that highlight texture and pattern, and sculptures that bring concepts to life. Each piece reflects the individual journey of the artist and the collective spirit of our school community.

This year’s exhibition was particularly special as it included artwork from every UISG student, making it a true all-school celebration.
Adding to the excitement, a silent auction of selected pieces was held, with all proceeds generously supporting the charity Hopeful Hearts. This initiative encourages students and families to contribute to a worthy cause while appreciating beautiful art.
