UISG Class of 2026 Graduation

Farewell with joy, onward to new shores.

As the orchestra played the opening notes of

Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance,

the proud parents of the graduating class,

along with the assembled students,

rose to their feet to welcome the graduates.

GRADUATION

The MFH, transformed overnight from a mere sports hall into a beautiful venue for ceremony and celebration, was a fitting location for this culminating event in the academic life of our Grade 12 students.

Ms. Dorothy’s opening speech congratulated the cohort before presenting the prestigious UEF Special Recognition Awards. Dr. Mullen’s words to the graduates reminded them that while the world is constantly changing, character remains a constant – and once a Wolf, always a Wolf! Mr. Grist encouraged students to embrace doubt as a catalyst for asking questions and seeking understanding of others’ perspectives. His Excellency Mr. Ali Ibrahim Alheji, Consul General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, spoke warmly of his regard for the school and its long history.

Graduation Speech

Interspersing the inspiring speeches was a beautiful piano piece performed by Grade 12 student Tian Cheng Chen, alongside the presentation of the UISG Global Citizenship Award, the Wolves Athletics Legacy Award, and the Dr John Clark Art Institute of the Orient Award. The Valedictorian, Dai Hirose, delivered a speech to classmates, commending them on their achievements in understanding TOK (or at least partially understanding!).
