On Friday November 1st UISG parents came to our Early Years assembly to engage in a fun reading and storytelling event, which is a cherished tradition highlighting the importance of linguistic diversity in our IB curriculum.
Led by enthusiastic parent volunteers, this assembly was filled with enchanting storytelling sessions, where children delighted in listening to tales in their mother tongues. Parents brought books in their native language to school and read multiple stories to the children. The children asked plenty of questions about the stories and the pictures in the books.

In the Early Years division at UISG, we recognize that language is not only a tool for communication but also a cornerstone of identity and cultural heritage. Through Story Time, we cultivate an environment where every language is valued, celebrated, and cherished.
