Jonathan Harris
Drama Teacher
Introducing Mr. Harris, our esteemed Summer School Drama Teacher with 16 years of experience working with children aged 3-12. Currently serving as the PYP Coordinator and Assistant Head of Primary, Jonathan brings expertise and dedication to our team. His leadership roles within the IBPYP showcase his commitment to excellence. Jonathan focuses on providing holistic and inquiry-based learning experiences, empowering students to become lifelong learners. Through theatre and drama activities, he fosters confidence, creativity, and communication skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. Students engage in improvisation, role-playing and collaborative performances, encouraged to embrace their unique talents. Jonathan’s passion for theatre inspires students to discover their creative potential and develop essential life skills for academic and personal success.

3~12세 어린이들과 함께 일한 16년 경력의 존경받는 썸머스쿨 드라마 선생님인 Harris 선생님을 소개해드립니다. 현재 PYP 코디네이터 겸 초등 담당 부교장으로 재직 중인 Harris 선생님은 썸머스쿨 교사팀에 전문성과 헌신을 더해주고 있습니다. IBPYP 내에서 그의 리더십 역할은 탁월함을 향한 그의 헌신을 보여줍니다. 평소 Harris 선생님은 학생들이 평생 학습자가 될 수 있도록 전체론적이고 탐구 기반의 학습 경험을 제공하는 데 주력합니다. 그는 연극과 드라마 활동을 통해 서로를 지지하고 포용하는 환경에서 자신감, 창의력, 의사소통 능력을 키워줍니다. Harris 선생님의 수업 시간에 학생들은 즉흥 공연, 역할극, 협동 공연에 참여하며 각자의 고유한 재능을 발휘하도록 격려받습니다. 연극에 대한 Harris 선생님의 열정은 학생들이 자신의 창의적 잠재력을 발견하고 학업 및 개인적 성공을 위한 필수적인 삶의 기술을 개발하도록 고무할 수 있습니다.

Early Years Homeroom Teacher
Ms. Jai is thrilled to join the Early Years Summer School Program with 24 years of experience in early childhood education. Her passion lies in nurturing young minds to reach their full potential and fostering a love for learning. She creates a nurturing environment to spark curiosity, encourage inquiry, and promote critical thinking through interactive activities. With expertise in educational psychology and child development, Ms. Jai is dedicated to continual professional growth to enhance educational practices. She is eager to embark on a summer journey of learning, fun, and discovery, aiming to create lasting memories and ignite a lifelong passion for learning in every child.
얼리이어스 담임 선생님
유아 교육 분야에서 24년의 경력을 쌓은 Jai 선생님은 얼리이어스 썸머스쿨 프로그램에 합류하게 되어 매우 기쁘게 생각합니다. 그녀의 열정은 어린 아이들이 잠재력을 최대한 발휘할 수 있도록 키우고 학습에 대한 사랑을 키워나가는 데 있습니다. Jai 선생님은 많은 상호작용 활동을 통해 호기심을 자극하고, 탐구를 장려하며, 비판적 사고를 촉진하는 양육 환경을 만듭니다. 또 교육 심리학과 아동 발달에 대한 전문 지식을 바탕으로 교육 관행을 개선하기 위해 지속적인 전문성 성장에 전념하고 있습니다. Jai 선생님은 모든 어린이들에게 오래도록 기억에 남는 추억을 만들어주고 평생 학습에 대한 열정을 불러일으키는 것을 목표로 학습, 재미, 발견의 여름 여정을 시작하고 싶어 합니다.

Mr. Tom is a passionate educator with over 7 years of experience in teaching English and homeroom in schools across China. He specialises in creating engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and fostering a positive classroom environment. Mr. Tom believes that every student has the potential to succeed, and he strives to inspire and empower them to reach their full potential.

Tom 선생님은 중국 전역의 학교에서 7년 이상 영어를 가르치고 담임을 맡아온 열정적인 교육자입니다. 그는 다양한 학습 스타일에 맞는 매력적인 수업 계획을 세우고 긍정적인 교실 환경을 조성하는 것을 전문으로 합니다. Tom 선생님은 모든 학생이 성공할 수 있는 잠재력을 가지고 있다고 믿으며, 학생들이 자신의 잠재력을 최대한 발휘할 수 있도록 영감을 주고 힘을 실어주기 위해 끊임없이 노력합니다.
Hyowoo Lee
Primary Homeroom Teacher
Ms. Lee is a passionate Secondary Individuals & Societies teacher and Creativity, Action and Service coordinator at UISG. With a lifelong experience of living abroad and a deep passion for international education, Ms Lee brings a unique perspective and unwavering dedication to fostering global awareness and intercultural competence among students. As a secondary teacher, Ms Lee will meet with Y5-6 students, soon-to-be secondary students, in summer school and share her expertise to help them with smoother transition into the secondary school.

이효우 선생님은 열정적인 중고등부 ‘인문사회 영역(Individuals & Societies)’ 교사이자 UISG의 창의력, 활동, 봉사(CAS: Creativity, Action, Service) 코디네이터입니다. 해외에서 오랫동안 살아온 경험과 국제 교육에 대한 깊은 열정을 바탕으로 이효우 선생님은 학생들의 글로벌 인식과 문화간 역량을 키우기 위해 독특한 시각과 확고한 헌신을 가지고 있습니다. 중고등부 교사로서 이효우 선생님은 곧 중등부 학생이 될 Y5-6 학생들을 썸머스쿨에서 만나고 학생들이 중등부로 원활하게 전환할 수 있도록 자신의 전문 지식을 공유할 예정입니다.
Sidney Bartlett
Physical Education Teacher
Mr. Sid will be your child/ children’s Physical Education teacher during summer school. He has been teaching and living in Guangzhou for 10 years, and this is his 5th year at Utahloy International School teaching and coaching children aged 3 – 18 years old.
Mr. Sid is looking forward to the learning that will take place, as well as all fun activities we have planeed for the upcoming summer school.

Sid 선생님은 썸머스쿨 기간 동안 아이들의 체육 교사가 될 것입니다. 그는 광저우에서 10년 동안 가르치고 생활해 왔으며, 올해로 유탈로이 국제학교에서 3~18세 아이들을 가르치고 코치하는 5년째입니다.
Sid 선생님은 다가오는 썸머스쿨에서 진행될 학습과 우리가 계획한 모든 재미있는 활동을 기대하고 있습니다.
