On the afternoon of Friday, May 30, 2025, the Multi-Function Hall at Utahloy International School Guangzhou was transformed into a world of imagination and wonder as our Primary students presented their much-anticipated musical production, “The Magical Library.” This vibrant and heartfelt performance captivated students, parents, and staff alike, showcasing the incredible talents, creativity, and teamwork of our young learners.
01. The Story Behind the Show
“The Magical Library” tells the story of a young girl who, at the start, had lost her interest in reading. Through the caring and enthusiasm of all the students in Primary, she embarks on a magical journey to rediscover her love for books. The production brilliantly brought this transformation to life by featuring several beloved stories that came alive on stage through drama, songs, and dances. This unique approach not only entertained but also reminded everyone of the magic that books hold.
02. A Journey Through Beloved Stories
The show was a vibrant tapestry of classic and contemporary tales that delighted the audience. From the whimsical world of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory to the curious adventures of Alice in Wonderland, each story was performed with energy and heart. The charm of Mary Poppins’ magical nanny, the communal spirit of Stone Soup, and the cool vibes of Pete the Cat added layers of fun and learning. The excitement continued with the thrilling flights alongside How to Train Your Dragon and the epic journey through The Book of Narnia. And many more stories filled the stage with color, music, and movement, making the library truly come alive.
03. A Celebration of Creativity and Collaboration
What made this production especially memorable was the collective effort of every Primary student. From acting and singing to dancing and stagecraft, each child contributed to bringing the stories to life. Their dedication and enthusiasm were evident in every scene, captivating the audience and inspiring a deep appreciation for storytelling and reading.
04. A Heartwarming Finale
The musical concluded with all the performers coming together to sing the uplifting song, “Books are Magic.” This joyful finale was a powerful reminder of the wonder and possibilities that books open up for readers of all ages. The smiles and applause from the audience reflected the success of the show and the positive impact it had on everyone present.
05. Thank You to Our Community

2025年5月30日（星期五）下午，广州誉德莱外籍人员学校（UISG）的多功能厅摇身一变，成为充满想象与奇迹的世界——我们小学部的学生们倾情献上了备受期待的音乐剧《魔法图书馆》（The Magical Library）。这场活力四射、真挚动人的演出深深吸引了学生、家长和教职员工，充分展现了我们年轻学子非凡的才华、创造力和团队协作精神。
01. 剧目背后的故事
《魔法图书馆》讲述了一个小女孩在故事伊始失去了阅读兴趣，却在小学部全体学生的关怀与热情感染下，开启了一段重新发现书本之爱的奇妙旅程。本剧通过戏剧、歌曲和舞蹈将数部深受喜爱的故事生动地搬上舞台，精彩地呈现了这一转变。这种独特的方式不仅带来了欢乐，更让所有人重温了书本所蕴藏的魔法。
02. 穿越经典故事的旅程
演出宛如一幅由经典与现代故事编织而成的生动织锦，令观众陶醉其中。从威利·旺卡（Willy Wonka）奇幻的巧克力工厂世界，到爱丽丝（Alice）在仙境中的奇妙历险，每个故事都饱含能量与真情演绎。魔法保姆玛丽·波平斯（Mary Poppins）的魅力、《石头汤》（Stone Soup）中体现的互助精神、以及《皮特猫》（Pete the Cat）的酷炫风采，层层叠加了趣味与启迪。随后，《驯龙高手》（How to Train Your Dragon）中惊心动魄的飞行场面、《纳尼亚传奇》（The Book of Narnia）的史诗旅程，以及更多精彩故事，用色彩、音乐和律动装点了整个舞台，让图书馆真正活了起来。

音乐剧在所有演员共同唱响鼓舞人心的歌曲《书本有魔法》（Books are Magic）中圆满落幕。这欢乐的终章有力地提醒着所有人，书本为各年龄段的读者开启了怎样的奇迹与无限可能。观众脸上的笑容与热烈的掌声，印证了演出的成功及其给在场每个人带来的积极影响。
