UISG VEX Robotics Team
We are delighted to share the recent accomplishments of our UISG VEX Robotics Team, which participated in a friendly competition in Macau alongside teams from other international schools in the region.
During the Robotics ECA, our students exhibited exemplary teamwork, tackling the challenge of designing, building, coding, and operating their own robots. Saturday, February 24th, our first-time competitors navigated the intricacies of the competition format, showcasing their prowess as risk-takers and effective communicators. The students adeptly collaborated with teams from diverse schools, thoughtfully responded to judges’ interview questions, and skillfully completed tasks related to driving and coding.

Notably, one of our three teams achieved a remarkable feat by securing a position in the top 10 during the finals—an outstanding accomplishment for a first-time participant.
Empowered by this success, our students eagerly anticipate returning to school, invigorated to refine their robotic creations and strategic approaches for upcoming competitions.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the dedicated parent helpers whose support proved instrumental during both the competition and travel.
