The UISG College Counselling Department is committed to serving the unique university application needs of our diverse community.
Many of our students return to their home countries to continue their studies. However, navigating these university application systems is not always straightforward.
To best support our students, inviting external experts to give special talks to our students and parents can provide that much needed boost to put together an effective application.
Last week, we successfully concluded an event supporting our Korean students’ applications – through inviting Mr Kim to lead our parents and students through the requirements and nuances of Korean university admissions.
We are excited to announce another such event for our UISG community. This upcoming info session is dedicated to Japanese students interested in pursuing higher education back in Japan.
For this occasion, we are pleased to welcome Mariko Watanabe, an external counsellor from Yew Chung International School Hong Kong. With her extensive experience in both university admissions and college counselling, including her background at the University of Tokyo, Ms. Watanabe will share valuable insights to help guide you through the admissions process.
Please join us on January 16th or 17th (date to be confirmed) at 7:00 PM via Zoom.
This event will be conducted in Japanese.
Participants should submit their questions during registration, as the responses to these inquiries will shape the session. Please do so by January 9th, to provide Ms Watanabe ample time to prepare the presentation.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity prepared specially for the UISG Japanese community!
