Dear Early Years Families,
General Information:
As another amazing year in UISG Early Years comes to an end, all the finishing touches are being completed. Report cards will be posted to Manage Bac on 14 June. Wolf Cubs will also begin bringing their artwork, class projects, and extra clothes home over the coming week. Please watch for messages from homeroom teachers about celebrations and special moments as the classes say their goodbyes next week.
For our K3 Wolf Cubs, next week marks their last days in Early Years before they join the Primary school in August. We will be celebrating them with a graduation ceremony from 9:00-10:30 on Wednesday 12 June. K3 families, please complete the RSVP form so we can ensure we have enough seats and treats for everyone.
As the community is aware, Dr Moss is moving on to a new country and new school. Any emails sent after 12:00 14 June will no longer reach Dr Moss. Anything sent over the summer months will be saved for review by the incoming Early Years Coordinator, Ms Jai. For urgent matters, after 14 June it is best to contact Primary Office or Admissions Office where staff will be communicating throughout the summer months.
As I bid a warm farewell to UISG, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for the incredible support and collaboration we have shared over the years. It has been a joy to be Wolf Momma to so many EY Wolf Cubs over my years at UISG. I am grateful for my time spent here with our community. I wish everyone all the best for the 2024-25 school year. May it be filled with joy, learning, and endless opportunities for our Wolf Cubs!

Dear Primary Parents,
Next week is the final week of the semester and what a busy week it will be! Don’t forget that Monday 10th June is Dragon Boat Festival and UISG will be closed.
On Tuesday 11th June the Year 5 students will go on a field trip to Rockin’ Jump. The purpose of this trip is to have fun and celebrate the PYP exhibition. The Year 3 students will be going on a field trip on the same day. The purpose of their trip is to have an authentic learning experience as the zoos animals will give the children opportunities to have meaningful English conversations.
I am excited to announce that on Tuesday 11th June we will be having an end-of-year party to celebrate and appreciate our amazing Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who are such integral parts of our school community. The party will take place during the school day as a token of our gratitude for all the hard work and support they provide to our children. Thank you for everything you do!
Calling all Year 6 students and families to our highly anticipated Year 6 Graduation Ceremony! Get ready for a morning filled with pride, joy, and memories as we honour our graduating class. The ceremony will be held in the MFH from 10:30am to 12:00pm. Don’t miss this unforgettable event! But wait, there’s more! Year 5 students and families are invited to their very own Graduation Ceremony in the MFH from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. Let’s celebrate the achievements and growth of our Year 5 students together!
Yearbooks will be given to students on Friday 14th June as a memento of the 2023-2024 year, cherish the memories. Don’t forget that Friday 14th June is early dismissal, the end of the day is 12:00pm. Reports will also be available through Managebac in the afternoon.
Friday 14th June is my last day at UISG. Any emails sent after 12:00pm will no longer reach me. Anything sent to my school email over the summer months will be saved for review by the incoming Head of Primary, Ms Chantelle Parsons. As my time at UISG comes to an end, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible journey of the past 6 years. It has been an honour to work with such amazing students, and I am truly proud of all they have accomplished. I am excited to witness the bright futures that await each and every one of them. While it is bittersweet to say goodbye, I believe it is time for fresh ideas and perspectives to continue shaping the wonderful community here at UISG. Thank you for the memories, the support, and the sense of community that has made my time here so special. I will cherish these moments and the connections made for years to come.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Another packed week this week has seen a superb Year 10 MYP Completion Ceremony in the MFH, transition days for Year 5 and Year 6, transition week for Year 10s, and Year 11s working on their collaborative Science projects. We also had the Year 8 Community Project exhibition, a Year 7 Field Trip and a school-based and student-run Model United Nations event (PACMUN) for students in Years 9-11.
As next week is our final week, there are a few reminders. Students need to clear their lockers and take home all their belongings – anything left behind will be cleared out. There is a Lost and Found for general items in the Atrium, and some more expensive items such as phones, glasses, earpods and watches can be found in the Secondary office.
Also next week we have a Sports and Activities day on Thursday, capped off with the awarding of the House Cup in the Secondary assembly. And there is a Whole School Assembly on Friday June 14th, which will have musical items from EY, Primary and Secondary.
Final school reports will be generated on the last day of term, June 14th.
This is also the final Week Ahead to parents, so I will get in my final thanks and wishes. Thank you to the whole community – students, parents and teachers, for making this a great year. Wishing you all safe and enjoyable holidays. For those who are moving on, best wishes and good luck; for those who are returning, I look forward to seeing you again in August.
