As we prepare for the first week of school at Utahloy International School of Guangzhou (UISG), I want to express my gratitude for your support and partnership. I’m excited to be part of this vibrant community and to work with our students, teachers, staff, and UPTA for a successful year!
We’re thrilled to welcome new and returning students and teachers back to campus this week! Our dedicated team of educators are eager to challenge students and provide rich opportunities for personal and academic growth. Their experience and passion will inspire students to reach new heights.

Dear Families,
I hope this message finds you well! I want to remind you that school starts tomorrow. Please ensure your child is ready to line up by 8:20 AM.
Additionally, we would love to invite parents to consider being a class representative this year. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get involved and support our classroom community. If you would like to be the class representative, please contact the Primary Office or your child’s homeroom teacher.
Meanwhile, please find WeChat QR codes for each class on Managebac message. Please join your child’s homeroom WeChat group, important information and reminders will be shared via the parent reps through the WeChat group.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
The new school year starts on Tuesday August 13th, and I am so looking forward to seeing students back on campus!
We will start the school year by meeting together in the MFH at 8.20. All Secondary students should go straight to the MFH at the beginning of the day. We will have an assembly to welcome all students, and in particular welcome the new students. We will also be introducing the new Secondary teachers, as well as welcoming Dr. Daniel Mullen, the new Head of School. After the assembly, students will meet their homeroom teachers and Heads of Year for the first three periods of the day, and regular classes start after break.
You will be receiving an email from your child’s homeroom teacher welcoming them, and you, to the school year.
There is a small change to the Secondary schedule this year. Morning homeroom starts at 8:15am (5 minutes earlier than previously). This allows us to have a slightly longer lunchtime, which means that student-run clubs and activities can now be possible during lunchtime. The school day still finishes at 3:20pm
We have an excellent group of new Secondary teachers joining our faculty this year, and I look forward to a successful year with all of our teachers working as a team to bring out the best in our students.
