Dear Early Years Families,
General Information:
One of the most important end-of-year occasions is the Student Led Conferences which will take place on 15 May. The SLCs are a time when the children will show their skills, learning outcomes, and ways they engage in the classroom. It is a showcase of active learning in Early Years, and I look forward to seeing all EY parents supporting their child on that day.
Remember it is a No School Day for children and you should come to campus together at your designated timeslot.
For Early Years swimming, please remember to send swim clothes and support items on your child’s PE day. Swimming is a wonderful way to develop gross motor skills, bravery, and of course have fun! We encourage all Wolf Cubs to participate in swimming lessons.
Now is an important time of year for the school to make plans for the 2024-25 academic year. The admissions department sent out enrolment reminders to all current families. To secure your seat for next year, please follow up with the admissions survey. We look forward to welcoming our Wolf Cubs into next year!

Dear Primary Families,
Swimming for Year 1 and Year 2 started this week and next week Year 3 to Year 6 will begin. Swimming is during the timetables PE classes, please review your child’s swimming times to support them in organising their swim kits on the correct days.
Student Led Conferences will take place on 15th May for Y1-Y4. Parents should have already received their conference time from homeroom teachers. Please allow around 90 minutes for the conference. This is a no school day for Y1-Y4 students.
The admissions department has recently sent out the 2024-25 academic year reenrolment information to all families, secure your seat! A parent survey to gather perspectives on the 2024-2025 class placements has been sent out. The survey deadline is 3:30pm on Friday 17th May 2024.
We welcome all families to the Summer Concert happening on Friday 17th May. Please see the separate communication for details.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
An invitation was sent out today for the Summer Concert on Friday May 17th, featuring students across the school and in a range of different music groups. It would be lovely to see many of our parents there, as we celebrate the musical talents that are developed here at UISG.
Another opportunity for parents to come and see the learning that is going on on campus is for the Year 9 Community Project. The Community Project exhibition will take place on 16 May 2024 from 12:25 – 13:15 in the multi-function-hall (MFH).
Our Year 10 students have been taking their MYP eAssessments this week, and this continues next week as well. The same is true of the Year 12s, whose DP exams finish next Friday on May 17th. They get their own celebratory field trip on May 21st when they head to Chimelong, and we all get to celebrate their Graduation on May 25th.
Although the weeks are ticking by, there are still a lot of significant events coming up for the Secondary school, and many of them are in the “Looking Ahead” section below:
