Dear UISG Families,
As we look ahead, I want to take a moment to celebrate the hard work and dedication our students and teachers have shown in kicking off this semester. Spirit Week was a fantastic success, with our Tigers, Pandas, Warriors, and Dragons proudly showcasing their UISG spirit all over campus!
Next week is going to be action-packed! Our grade 11 students are off to camp, our UISG athletes will be kicking-off their first tournaments for the 2024-2025 season, and our entire community will be buzzing with excitement as we partake in International Dot Day activities throughout the week.
Don’t forget to save the date: Saturday, September 14th, for the highly anticipated UPTA Welcome Picnic! It’s going to be a wonderful community event that you won’t want to miss!

International Dot Day
Show your spots on International Dot Day!
This year we are celebrating International Dot Day in connection with Aboriginal Dreamtime stories and artwork. We will be sharing stories and creating a giant ‘Dot’.
On Friday 13th September, come to school dressed in dots and spots!

We had a very successful School Spirit Week this week, culminating in a Whole School Assembly on Friday afternoon. The House Captains and the Student Council put in a tremendous effort organising fun games and activities throughout the week – well done to them (and the teachers Ms. Jennifer and Mr. Malcolm)

- Sept 23 – An overview of the final year in DP including College Counseling (Year 12) – Admin Hall from 8:30 – 9:30am
- Sept 23 – Safeguarding at UISG (Whole school focus) – Lecture Theatre from 3:30 – 4:30pm
- Sept 27 – Coffee morning with Martin Grist, Head of Secondary – Wolves Cafe 8:30 – 9:30am
We hope you are able to join us for the ones that are relevant to your child.
Camps / Week Without Walls
We are very fortunate to have China New Horizons (CNH), part of the UEF group, as our Camp / Week Without Walls providers. The partnership we have with them allows us to build an effective progression of experiences and skills across the Year levels. They have their own base in Pak Lap, Hong Kong, which is used as a base for a number of the Camps.
Year 11 travel to Beijing next week for their Culture and Exploration experience on Camp.
Year 6-10 Camps take place on Sept 23-27, and information regarding the Camps has been shared with parents.

我们非常幸运地得到了中国新视野(CNH)作为我们的Camp/无墙周的提供者，它是UEF集团的一部分。我们与他们建立的伙伴关系使我们能够在各个年级有效地发展经验和技能。他们在香港白腊有自己的基地。
11年级学生下周将前往北京参加他们的文化探索营。
6-10年级的Camp将于9月23日至27日举行，有关Camp的信息已与家长分享。
