Our robots (and students) are built for any climate! ❄️🤖 Just back from a chilly but championship weekend in Shanghai at the VEX Nationals!
The competition was fierce, but our teams were fiercer. Here’s the breakdown:
➡️ V5 Division (51 Teams):
Our veteran squad Ctrl+Alt+Defeat (Mikayla, Aarav, Frank) leveled up in their second year! They forged alliances, fought into the finals, and clinched 22nd overall. Huge growth, even bigger plans for next year!
Not to be outdone, our Secondary Team (Zack, Evan, Isabella) became masters of the last-minute redesign. They tackled a major intake rebuild in the final weeks and executed flawlessly. That’s engineering under pressure!
➡️ VEX IQ Division (50 Teams):
The Byte Wolves (Neev, Shun, Tsubasa) proved collaboration is key! Through smart problem-solving and teamwork, they battled to a solid 44th place.
And give it up for our rookies, UISG D (Lucas, Mina, Oscar)! They faced every team’s nightmare: travel damage. But did they panic? Nope. They engineered a major on-site rebuild and roared back to an impressive 30th place finish! 👏
Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. From mechanical grit to coding genius, our students represented UISG brilliantly. The future of robotics is here, and it’s wearing our colors!

What will they build next? Stay tuned!
