The Power of Play

At UISG, we encourage our staff members to engage in learning new technologies. Fifteen staff members attended the ADE (Apple Distinguished Educators) conference in Hong Kong on November 11th, focusing on “The Power of Play.” Educators and Teaching Assistants of varying grades attended this free conference and learned about various topics ranging from AI and Fitness, Digital Citizenship, Digital Portfolios, Coding, and Design Thinking. Forty-six sessions were offered in both English and Chinese, lasting about 55 minutes. The outcomes were teachers learning to create engaging and personalized learning experiences for their students to inspire them to become lifelong learners. All participants noted how much they enjoyed attending the conference, and the information they learned was passed on to their colleagues during the Professional Development days on campus.

UISG에서는 직원들에게 새로운 기술을 배우고 참여할 것을 권장합니다. 11월 11일에 홍콩에서 개최된 ADE (Apple Distinguished Educators) 컨퍼런스에는 15명의 직원이 참석했으며, “놀이의 힘”을 주제로 진행되었습니다. 다양한 학년의 교육자와 교수 보조들이 이 무료 컨퍼런스에 참석하여 인공지능과 피트니스, 디지털 시민의식, 디지털 포트폴리오, 코딩 및 디자인 사고 등 다양한 주제에 대해 배웠습니다. 영어와 중국어로 46개 세션을 제공했으며, 각 세션은 약 55분 동안 진행되었습니다. 교사들은 이 컨퍼런스를 통해 학생들에게 흥미로운 맞춤형 학습 경험을 만들어 평생 학습자로서의 열정을 일깨우는 방법을 배웠습니다. 모든 참가자는 이 컨퍼런스에 참석하는 것을 즐겼으며, 학교에서 개최된 전문 개발 날들 동안 동료들에게 배운 정보를 전달했습니다.
