Fall Information Sessions for Secondary Parents

I gave Secondary Parent Presentations this week with a detailed look into university applications due in the fall. Please stay tuned for parent info sessions in January for the focus on spring applications. 

University Info Sessions 

University representatives are invited to give our students an overview of higher education opportunities around the world. 

Last week, University of British Columbia was invited to our school, resulting in a fruitful and engaging time for our students to learn more about the opportunity to study in Canada.

• September 27 (virtual) 8pm – Purdue University Information Session & Overview of Studying in the USA
• October 13 (virtual) 1:30pm – Korea University Information Session & Alumni and Parent testimonials about the application process
• October 23 (in-person) TBA – Hong Kong / China Universities fair
• October 25 (virtual) 8pm – Portfolio Review by Otis College

China Education Expo

China Education Expo is happening on October 24. Various representatives of universities and consulates are joining to give insight into their country’s education system.

UISG Representation at CIS-EARCOS Conference in Bangkok 

I am attending the CIS-EARCOS Institute on International Admissions and Guidance on Sep 22 and 23 in Bangkok, networking with universities on behalf of our students and also co-presenting on two topics: ‘Finding the Right Fit’ and ‘Well-being for Counselors’.
