Great fun, lots of excitement and learning during Y4 Camp at Yifeng Base in Zengcheng. Students participated in a range of team building activities, making new friends, and learning how to communicate more effectively. Hiking and Eco-farming were the highlight for many. Others enjoyed the BBQ & the talent show.
It was great to see students interacting in a different context, showing a different side of their personalities. They grew up in independence, respect for others, and appreciation for nature.
Well done Year 4!
Students’ remarks:
“My favorite part of camp was the campfire, it was fun to see others dancing. I learned to communicate because there were many activities that we needed to do in teams. I will never forget how to make a bird’s house and how hard is to hike. I did not like the toilets at the campsite”. –Wing Kei (Albert) Hu
“Something I will never forget will be when we played games with friends at the hotel room and how to make a bow and arrow. My favorite part was when playing Settlers of Catan in a friend’s tent and eating snack together. I learned how to manage myself by making-up things before I do not do the wrong thing”. –Peiqi (Stanly)Cai
“Everything was my favorite! I liked all the activities.” — Evan Ko
“I liked the DIY bow and arrow making best because you get to take it home!” — Red class student.
“I liked the camp made by Wild China, the best part was the sleep and night at the hotel, I did not enjoy the hiking”— Xuanbo Xu
“I liked the activities during camp, it was very funny. I did not enjoy sleeping in a tent because people were so, so loud” — Anna Wunderwald
