Course Description
The proposed UIS Nursery Programme at UISG is purposefully designed for children who are 18 to 24 months old. The programme is based upon international early childhood standards and inquiry-based approach of the IB Primary Years Programme, which fits UISG’s philosophical underpinnings as an IB World School.
Course Duration & Content
This course is designed as a regular 1 academic year programme as with all other year levels in Early Years. This is a new year level and will follow the UISG school calendar.
This course will run 5 days per week and 3 hours per day. This course will be offered on a yearly basis and will take place on weekday mornings.
Content and outcomes are based on a developmental continuum and include the following domains:
- Social-emotional
- Physical
- Language
- Cognitive
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Arts and Music
In addition to these major domains, the programme will foster science and inquiry learning using the https://earthcubs.com/ resources. The Earth Cubs is a developmentally appropriate, free resource which includes alignment to the Sustainable Development Goals, teacher professional development, lesson planning resources, and child-friendly STEM resources.

Course Fee
- The annual tuition fee for K Class is RMB 175,000 in 2023-2024.
- The annual tuition fee for N Class is RMB 120,000 in 2023-2024.
- Usual admissions practice regarding full-year fee payment and sibling discounts can apply to the Nursery programme (4% reduction following policy).
UISG run two semesters per year. Fees are paid annually or by semester.
Nursery class fees include snack and milk daily.
