Our camp was titled ‘Treasure hunter’ by our organizers and rightly so. Wow! Did we ever discover treasure? The most amazing thing is that the treasure was inside each and every student!

We started off by arriving at school in the morning then got ready to go to the bus. The bus ride was about six hours long. I thought I would get bored, but I got to meet and talk to new people on the bus. We arrived at our hotel at 3 PM and headed to me and my roommate’s room.
Autumn is a colourful season and UISG decided to celebrate this change in season by organising a diverse range of activities over four days in October. It was a good opportunity for students to develop their rich imagination, as shown in the DIY food and hands-on experiences offered by Ms Eva and the canteen staff.
As year 10 students, we have collaborated and have operated the Inktober activity for a month. It started by promoting the month on the daily bulletin board and promoting it at the atrium during breaks and lunch where it happened.

Our early childhood classroom had the pleasure of welcoming our school chef, who undertook a special mission to spread the love for food among our little ones. By paying a delightful visit to our K, K1, and K2 classes, the chef embarked on a creative effort to engage our children in an activity that not only delighted their taste buds but also nurtured essential life skills.

As a provocation for our next unit of inquiry, year 2 went to a trampoline park. Year 2 students will be inquiring into health and wellbeing. The students wore activity trackers to check how much they moved.
