Dear UISG Community,
We have a busy week ahead filled with opportunities to celebrate our students and engage as a community. Next week kicks off Monday with our annual Spirit Week, a fantastic tradition that always brings so much energy and creativity to our campus.
On the athletic front, it is a particularly active week for our Wolves. We host several home games, including HS Volleyball and MS Football against BSG on Tuesday, and are proud to host the UISG Swim Invitational on Friday afternoon. Our teams will also be traveling for matches at ISA and for the PRC exchanges on Saturday. I encourage you to check the schedule and come out to support our student-athletes if you are able.
For our parent community, we have several key engagement opportunities. We invite you to an informative session on the eAssessment and Personal Project (with a Grade 10 focus) on Tuesday, and our UPTA has organized a wonderful Cultural Exchange Fun Workshop on Wednesday. We also look forward to connecting with parents of Grades 3-5 at Friday’s Parent Power-Up session.
It’s a week that truly showcases the vibrant spirit of our school. I look forward to seeing you here.

International Dot Day 2025 – September 12/13 @ UISG!
亲爱的UISG大家庭：
接下来的一周忙碌而精彩，我们将共同庆祝学生的成长并深化社区联结。下周一，年度“精神文化周”将正式启动，这一精彩的传统活动始终为校园注入无穷的活力与创意。
在体育方面，这是属于我们“狼队”格外忙碌的一周。周二，我们将主场迎战多场赛事，包括高中排球与初中足球对BSG的比赛；周五下午，我们更将荣幸主办UISG游泳邀请赛。此外，我们的队伍也将在周六前往ISA参加比赛及PRC交流活动。欢迎各位查看赛程安排，如有时间，请前来为我们的学生运动员加油助威。

What a fabulous Dot Day yesterday! So many Dots around the school, including these giant Dots below. A HUGE thank you goes to our Art department, Ms Karen and Ms Tia for engaging our students in art, organising the activities and getting everyone dotty!
Spirit Week
We have even more Spirit coming next week with Spirit Week. The Primary Student Council and Ms Amy have been busy collaborating with the Secondary School to have schoolwide dress up days and activities at break times. We look forward to all our Wolves showing their Spirit next week.
MAP Testing & Parent Power-Up
You should have all now received your child’s MAP test results via ManageBac. If you cannot see them, please reach out to the Primary office.

精神周
下周的“精神周”将更加精彩。小学部学生会和 Ms Amy 一直忙于与中学部合作，举办全校性的装扮日和课间活动。我们期待下周所有狼崽们都能展现他们的精神风貌。

I am looking forward to seeing many of you at tomorrow’s Welcome Picnic. As well as the regular entertainment, there are an impressive number of student booths hosting a wide variety of activities. I’m sure it will be a great UISG Community event.
Spirit Week next week
The Student Council and House Captains have been working together to plan a Whole School Spirit Week next week. This is a great way of bringing the student community together, providing some additional fun and activities and showing the “I” in Team. Please encourage your children to get involved.
Secondary Camps Sept 22-26
Final information about the Camps will be sent out early next week. All students will need to bring their travel documents to school during the week. These are kept safe at school in preparation for smooth departure on Monday Sept 22. Grade 12 will be at school the week of September 22 – 26, focusing on their Internal Assessments, Extended Essay and TOK.
Dot day artwork was a collaborative work, with all students encouraged to add their dots to the House artwork. This year’s final pieces are a fantastic example of teamwork and contributions from across the school.
Parent power-ups / information sessions
There was an excellent turn-out for the Grade 11 information session, so thank you to all who came. On Tuesday September 16 there is a session on eAssessment and the Personal Project. Although specifically aimed at Grade 10 parents, all are welcome to come and find out more about this special part of the MYP.

9 月 22 日-26 日 中学Camps
关于Camps的最后信息将于下周初发出。所有学生下周需要将旅行证件交给班主任老师，学校会妥善保管，保障9 月 22 日星期一顺利出发。12 年级学生 9 月 22 日- 26 日正常上校，集中精力完成内部评估、拓展论文和知识论的学习。
“圆点日”艺术作品是大家共同完成的成果，所有学生都被鼓励将自己的点绘制到House作品中。今年的最终作品充分展现了团队合作以及全校师生的共同努力成果。
家长能力提升/信息说明会
11 年级的信息说明会参加人数众多，非常感谢所有到场的人员。9 月 16 日周二将举行关于电子评估和个人项目的讲座。虽然主要是针对 10 年级家长，但我们欢迎所有家长前来了解 MYP 中这一特别的部分。
