The Week Ahead

The 2026 HKDSE (Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education) results are about to be officially released on July 15, and Utahloy students are ready to shine with outstanding achievements ! To offer more parents and students an up-close experience of authentic DSE education, and to celebrate this year’s graduates’ remarkable milestones together, we are proud to present the “Final Open Day of the 2026-27 Academic Year & 2026 DSE High Achievers Showcase.”

UISG students became digital creators, exploring the exciting world of multimedia, animation, and storytelling. From iPad exploration to stop-motion animation, this week was packed with inspiration! Our youngest learners started their digital journey by exploring iPads and the big screen, discovering what it means to be responsible digital citizens and learning that technology is a powerful tool when used thoughtfully.

Summer mode is on! While students have stepped away from PYP inquiry units and MYP project assessments, IB learning never stops at the school gate. The IB Learner Profile isn’t just a school poster—it’s a roadmap for raising curious, principled, and thoughtful young people. And the best part? You don’t need to be an IB curriculum expert to nurture these traits at home.

The graduating Class of 2026 has delivered exceptional IB Diploma results, once again placing UISG among the very best. With an impressive 58% of our cohort surpassing global averages, our students have truly raised the bar. We are especially honored to celebrate one student who achieved the ultimate milestone — a perfect score of 45 — alongside another who secured an exceptional 44. These outstanding results are a powerful reflection of student determination, family partnership, and the unwavering dedication of our world-class teachers and academic programmes.

These two impressive offers mark a brilliant culmination of her high school journey.

Founded in 1998, UISG is Guangzhou’s pioneer IB continuum school and the city’s most established IB World School. We are authorized to offer the full International Baccalaureate (IB) program — from the Primary Years Programme (PYP) through the Middle Years Programme (MYP) to the Diploma Programme (DP) — for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. UISG youngest scientists kicked off the week by learning about animals and their habitats, discovering that animals need plants to survive.

UISG UNC, Early Years, and Primary artists concluded the academic year with an inspiring exhibition showcasing curiosity, originality, and determination. Students explored diverse techniques—fiber, ceramics, and 2D drawing and painting—within global contexts aligned with our unit of inquiry: How We Express Ourselves.
