At Casa, children are more than students, they are the masters of their own environment. Here, we follow their pace, craft a space that supports their growth, and gently guide them toward independence. Our role is to model, to inspire, and to step back, watching as each child learns to make thoughtful choices and embrace new challenges. This is where we, as educators, find our deepest purpose and happiness.
As we close the chapter on 2025, I reflect on the amazing year of celebration, learning, growth, and collective achievements. We capped it off perfectly today with our amazing whole-school holiday assembly—a vibrant celebration of our students’ talents and community spirit. I am honored to be part of our wonderful UISG Community!
Our Wolves competed in the Southern Delta Region (SDRC) 6-school tournament, a major event featuring over 170 elite players from across Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong.
Sunday December 14, the UISG campus came alive with warmth, color, and community spirit as we celebrated our annual International Festival of Light (IFOL). With crisp winter air and clear blue skies, the weather could not have been more perfect for a day spent outdoors together, and the campus buzzed with excitement from the moment families began to arrive.
As we approach the shortest day of the year and the final full week of 2025, we look forward to celebrating together with a blend of community celebration, academic reflection, and artistic expression. It is a wonderful opportunity to come together, reflect on a remarkable year, and share in the light before our well-earned winter break.
The Grade 7 Theatre trimester one students performed their Reader’s Theatre adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caeser.” The Grade 7 students having explored the different ways to improve their creative processes through improvisation and mime (body awareness) now learn the structures and practices to help them perform comedic roles in a scripted Drama play.
At the end of November, under the warm winter sun and with the kapok blossoms adorning the branches, a dialogue concerning cultural heritage and educational collaboration took place in the conference hall of Sun Yat-sen University’s Department of Chinese Language and Literature. Amid the quiet winter atmosphere, the gathering resonated with profound significance.
This Sunday, December 14th, UISG will be buzzing with energy for the year’s most anticipated event—the International Festival of Light (IFOL). Our K wolf cubs traded their classroom for an epic adventure at Momo Planet, and the joy was absolutely contagious!
