In our Y4 classroom, we recently wrapped up a unit of inquiry focussed on the central idea that “Successful communities are built on understanding and respect.” To celebrate the students’ learning, we hosted an end-of-unit celebration where families were invited into the classroom.
This summer, two of our students participated in the 2024 Harvard Model United Nations China Conference, an international event. Students from around the world gathered to discuss global issues, ranging from the Israel-Palestine conflict to the digital divide.

For our first Y8 design unit, students are learning to design play products which improve quality of life for a chosen target audience. To design successful play products students will be learning the importance of primary research and analysis of existing products.
On Monday, September 23rd, DP Economics, Business and Design Technology students were invited to visit the FAW Volkswagen plant in Foshan. The purpose of this trip is to connect student learning in the classroom to real world contexts to grow understanding and build further interest in the subjects.
