The personal project is a student-driven project that assesses the Year 10 students’ ability to learn independently by applying the ATLs they have been developing throughout the Middle Years Programme (MYP).
Secondary Student Performance & Chinese New Year Art Competition (Feb 2024)
The Secondary School House events fostered a sense of community and healthy competition among students. The House system provided opportunities for students to participate in various events and activities, promoting leadership skills and sportsmanship.
Year 8 explored the Italian genre of Commedia dell’arte through their Art of Comedy unit. First applying their research skills to an investigation of Commedia stock characters, students then formed groups and presented a Commedia scenario to their Year 8 peers.
Thursday afternoon saw the Secondary edition of the Talent Show return to the MFH stage, following on from a successful Primary Talent Show last month.
We started off by arriving at school in the morning then got ready to go to the bus. The bus ride was about six hours long. I thought I would get bored, but I got to meet and talk to new people on the bus. We arrived at our hotel at 3 PM and headed to me and my roommate’s room.
As year 10 students, we have collaborated and have operated the Inktober activity for a month. It started by promoting the month on the daily bulletin board and promoting it at the atrium during breaks and lunch where it happened.
Friday 13 October 2023 was a busy day for the Performing Arts department, featuring student performers from all three programmes: PYP, MYP and DP.
Last week the Year 10 Theatre class transformed the Admin Hall into a ‘theatre in the round’ through their Non-Western Theatre Style Demonstration: a performance of Tadashi Suzuki’s
